Sweet Lou’s Sour Mash started in March of 2013, and we’ve been refining our sound and high-energy live show ever since. Guitarist Jimmy Hall, fiddler Meggie Rodgers and bassist Ryan Jochim form the core of this ever-evolving line-up with Jesse Vernon on banjo when we’re lucky.  We’ve had a number of musicians from the local Seattle music community join us on stage, and we are forever grateful for such support and generosity from our friends. Hope to see you out at our next show – you never know if you’ll catch a surprise guest or two (or three)!

We host a much-loved free folk jam every second Sunday of the month open to the public at the Poggie Tavern in West Seattle.  We invite you to come on out, bring your instruments if ya got ’em, and share in our love of that old, familiar sound.

We love Seattle and sometimes busk around this beautiful city.  If you’re in town some sunny day, you just might catch us in the wild at Pike Place Market.
